Weight loss
is one of the big topics-no pun intended-on the late night television circuit. While flipping through the channels after 11p.m., you are apt to come across several advertisements for weight loss pills and diet supplements, each promising to help you drop those unwanted pounds and remove stubborn belly fat once and for all.
Let’s face it, if these pills really worked, America wouldn’t be the top overweight country in the world.
There are types of alternative medicine which can help with weight loss, however, and with great results. While no alternative medicine is a magic solution, practicing these principles can help you become more limber, feel more energetic, and the end result-or side effect if you will- is weight loss.
Take yoga
for example. The low impact stretching involved with yoga will help you feel less stressed, and as a result less likely to over eat as a result of depression
or anger. Acupuncture has exact pressure points in the ear which help reduce cravings, and detoxifying teas and herbs can help you feel healthier, and the side effect would be thinking twice before deciding that you want to “pollute” yourself again with oily and fatty foods. In this respect, alternative medicine is wonderful for weight loss.
Most alternative medicines for weight loss come in the form of detoxifying teas, energy supplements, and vitamins. The exercise and diet plans are the basis-as they should be- for safe and effective long term weight loss. There is no magic potion to lose weight. Truly dropping pounds and keeping them off requires regular daily exercise and a change in eating habits, period.
However, to get you ready for weight loss, here are some alternative medicine detoxifying teas and interesting supplements;
Take turmeric, ginger, and lemon-about a half teaspoon each and the juice of half a lemon, and boil it all in 2 cups of water. Drink every morning as a detoxifier before you start your diet.
All diets should consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, and buying a juicer is a great way to make a habit out of eating healthy. Please see your doctor before starting any kind of diet plan.
Omega three is a fine source of nutrient, and can be added to any smoothie or juice that you’re drinking.
Visit your local food co op or herbalist, they can get you set up with all sorts of alternative teas and nutrition advice, and can refer you to a good homeopathic doctor who will evaluate you as to what your individual nutrition needs are. Bovine and shark cartilage are two dietary supplements to hit the alternative market. Both have been used for years outside of the United States and Britain, but now are big business in the health food stores.
The most popular form of alternative medicine for weight loss isn’t really medicine at all, rather behavior modification through hypnosis. Hypnosis doesn’t make you rely on will power, that’s one of the reasons it’s so popular.
How hypnosis works is that it investigates what is subconsciously holding you to the thinking and eating habits that keep you overweight. Hypnotists believe that if the root cause of the obesity can be alleviated, the patient will naturally begin to lose weight. It is actually a very effective form of alternative medicine, and overall can cost much less than trips to day spas and expensive over the counter weight loss pills. Through hypnosis you can let go of fears that keep you from eating healthy, and begin to allow a positive energy flow through you, causing you to want to stick to the new way of eating and exercising.

Sore, aching knees, hips, fingers, backrest. Pain after excessively much activity. Pain after overly little. Eventually, almost everyone gets degenerative arthritis. Sometimes it’s the result of decades of wear-and-tear on the shock-absorbing cartilage that prevents bone from rubbing against bone. Sometimes it starts sooner, after an injury to the knees or other joints.

A Secret Way of Getting Traffic: Submitting to Online Directories
If you are reading this article, more likely than not you own a website that you would like to see be a success. To achieve that level, you need traffic to your site. But where does traffic come from?
One of the better ways to get traffic for your site is to submit your site to the many directories that exist online. Online directories are similar to your phone book yellow pages: These directories are categorized (education, entertainment, health, etc.), and when you submit your website, you suggest a category for your website. Often, you will even be able to submit to a sub-category within a major category. For example, suppose your website is about aromatherapy.
Human Growth Hormone has often been referred to as the “fountain of youth hormone”. So, have we stumbled upon the proverbial “fountain of youth” with these new HGH enhancement supplements that claim to reduce fat, relieve “aging symptoms” such as wrinkles, increase energy and sex drive, promote sounder and deeper sleep cycles, and rejuvenate the body? Well, there are several faithful users of products in this arena (and I’m one of them) that will swear that since they have started taking HGH enhancing products, they’ve experienced a wide range of pleasing and desirable benefits, and it’s not placebo.
If your goal is to proactively slow your body’s aging process and optimize your personal longevity and quality of life, a quality HGH supplement may be just the thing for you. So, let’s take a look at what these HGH products propose to do for you, and how they propose to offer such life-changing benefits to anyone who has the inclination to buy such products, and faithfully take the supplement as prescribed.
As we age, the amount of HGH secreted by our body’s pituitary gland decreases, resulting in the symptoms of aging you see in your skin (wrinkles, loss of tone and firmness), energy level, libido, hair color (loss of hair color, or graying of hair), weight gain, and muscle to fat ratio. We could go on forever on the symptoms of aging, but we’ll leave it at that for the sake of brevity, and because I’m sure you don’t have all day!
HGH supplements do not contain actual Human Growth Hormone - for this you would actually need to go to a doctor who does this type of thing, pay about $10,000 a year, and get injections of real Human Growth Hormone.
Rather, most HGH supplement products employ the use of homeopathic medicine and stimulate the pituitary gland into producing more Human Growth Hormone, increasing it’s levels in the blood (usually a big difference will be noticed within a month to two month’s time, which allows for the HGH-promoting agents to gain higher levels in the blood and become effective).
These HGH stimulating agents are what we call non prescription amino acid secretagogue supplementation. These compounds stimulate the pituitary gland and encourage it to secrete more HGH into the blood stream, hence the anti-aging benefits that are a direct result of increased HGH in the body. Studies have shown that amino acids such as arginine, glutamine and lysine can significantly increase the production of HGH. The tricky part is, many of these amino acid compounds can be destroyed by the digestive acids in the stomach, rendering any HGH enhancing abilities useless. If you are going to consider an HGH supplement in pill form, be sure there is a technology used to coat or protect the amino acids from being destroyed by your stomach acids. Most quality supplements in pill form will indicate that they employ this type of protective technology, just be sure to look for that information.
Another popular method of delivery is powder and spray form. Whatever your preference, just make sure you purchase the supplement from a reputable homeopathic and/or herbal company that has a wide range of successful products, plenty of customer testimonials, and a money back or quality guarantee. I can personally testify that I have been using an HGH supplement for about two months, and I’m no scientist, but I can definitely tell you, I feel great and I haven’t gotten sick once since I’ve been on it, even with several stomach flu viruses and cold bugs going around the office.
I’ve also notice that my sleep quality has improved and I wake up feeling more refreshed, my skin seems to be smoother and more toned, my fatty areas and cellulite seem to be improving/diminishing more and more every day, my appetite has decreased, I have more energy and can think more clearly at work without the typical fogginess I used to get halfway through my day, and my eyes are brighter and more full of life. Overall, my quality of life has definitely improved since about a month after I started the supplement.
Coincidence? Maybe - but I doubt it. I’m what you might call an herbal-product-of-the-moment junkie. I’ve experimented with many of the fads of the moment in the herbal and alternative medicine field, and I’ve never experienced such noticeable and obvious results as I have with HGH as I have with any of these other products. Try it - it may be just what you’re looking for to slow the aging process, improve your quality of life overall, and get the youthful edge back.

We’ve Come So Far - How Much Better Can Alternative Medicine Get?
Herbal and natural medicine has gained so much more attention than it ever had in the past seven to ten years. So, why is that? There must be something to it other than a consumer trend or a fleeting fad. And there is - a whole lot more. Consumers are finding that herbal medicines are helping them in many of the same ways as traditional medications prescribed by physicians - without the high cost, sometimes adverse side effects, and over-prescribing and combining of too many meds at once.
Herbal medicine is one of the oldest forms of healing and aiding the human body and mind and eliminating or alleviating human suffering. Hippocrates, one of the most famous philosophers and earliest proponents of natural medicine and herbal healing, believed that humans were meant to live in harmony with nature, and that nature itself prescribed cures and antidotes for human ailments - we just had to find out through trial and error which of nature’s plants were the best choices to heal various human illnesses of the mind and body.
Hippocrates notoriously believed that we should “let food be our medicine and medicine be our food”, meaning we only had to look as far as our environment and natural surroundings for cures and remedies to heal and mend ourselves, as well as to keep our bodies in optimal condition for as long as possible in order that a productive and meaningful life may be lead.
Herbs, natural compounds and botanicals were discovered to have dramatic healing capabilities as well as therapeutic properties for health maintenance and prevention centuries ago, before modern medicine evolved into what it is today. The most interesting part of the history of herbal medicine is that herbalism simultaneously occurred in vastly different areas of the globe.
What we know today as Indian herbal medicine, or Ayurvedic, Chinese herbal medicine and western herbal medicine, all have deep roots of ancestry going back as far as 202 BC. The fact that so many cultures came up with their own version of natural medicine is pretty staggering. What’s even more fascinating is the culmination of all of these cultural medicines paved the way for modern, man-made medications that we all know today.
What are the Most Popular and Effective Alternative Remedies Today?
Remedies for lack of sleep, stress
relief and relaxation, depression
, anxiety, pain, weight loss
, hair loss, skin problems and more are some of the most popular and in-demand herbal products currently on the market today. Along with these, there are more obscure remedies for illnesses and physical conditions, such as hemorrhoids, smoking cessation aids for withdrawal symptoms, cold remedies, and even herbal medicines purported to help people with cancer and even to help prevent cancer cells from forming.
While herbal medicine may be regarded by some with skepticism, especially those in the medical and pharmaceutical profession (go figure), its long standing usage and history of effectiveness is nothing to be scoffed at by any stretch of the imagination.
If you really examine what herbal medicines are and how they are discovered, is it really all that different from modern medicine? Not only that, but most modern medications have been derived from nature, albeit they are in an altered and corrupted form in the final stages of manufacture. Still, they have largely begun in a naturally biochemical state.
Herbal medicines have come a long way since their ancient origins, and are making new strides every day, just like modern medicine. Not only that, pharmaceutical engineering and medicine have actually helped to make more powerful and effective herbal remedies. In a way, the real journey for herbal medicines and alternative methods of healing has just begun!

Psychic abilities such as postcognition, psychometry, telepathy and physical/mental mediumship are all branches of a broader subject known as Parapsychology. People with psychic abilities are claimed to affect or retrieve information through a channel that does not belong within the scope of conventional or mainstream science. The credibility of such claims has been vehemently questioned by many, due to lack of evidence but its existence, however absurd it may seem, cannot be simply discarded because of the deep roots Parapsychology has in history and culture.
Anomalous Cognition:
These are the two types of psychic abilities or Parapsychology - Anomalous Cognition and Anomalous Operation. Anomalous Cognition may also be known as Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) and includes:
Telepathy: is the ability to communicate information mentally from one person to another, without using any physical signs and other aids.
Precognition: is the ability to perceive information and predict future events before they actually happen. This information is achieved by a special mental ability and not deductive reasoning.
Postcognition or Retrocognition: is the ability to achieve information about events that has already occurred which are usually unknown by others. For example, “psychic detectives” claim to use this method to detect possible murderers.
Psychometry: is another form of postcognition which enables a person to achieve information about events that had already occurred by being in close contact with the area or object where the event took place.
Clairvoyance: is the ability to perceive distant objects, persons, or events. Sometimes clairvoyants may claim to have the ability to see through opaque structures like brick walls, and perceive unseen energy such as radio waves. Subtypes include clairaudience, clairalience, clairgustance, and clairsentience.
Anomalous Operation:
Anomalous Operation, simply put, is communication by paranormal means. The different types of Anomalous Operation are closely related which include:
Psychokinesis: or telekinesis or remote influencing is the ability to move physical objects and influence the behavior of matter mentally without the aid of any other devices.
Out-of-body experience (OBE): is the ability to separate one’s physical body from the soul, spirit or mind. OBE is a common phenomenon and often linked to Near-death experiences, dreams, alcohol and drugs.
Astral Projection: is closely linked with Out-of-body experience. The astral body is a “double” of the real physical body but separated from it, moving freely on its own in the astral plane. Astral projection is also often linked with drugs, dreams and NDE’s.
Near-death experience (NDE): is one of the most common Out-of-body experiences. When some people who are proclaimed to be clinically dead are revived again, they relate experiences in which they travel out of their physical bodies and see their own dead bodies.
Mediumship: in which private s?ances are performed to link spirits with the living world by way of physical manifestations such as raps, audible voices, body movements, and materializing figures of the dead.
Faith Healing: or spiritual healing is the ability to heal sickness by spiritual means such as praying, pilgrimage, and other religious rituals. Faith healing is also considered a form of alternative medicine.

Your peace of mind is priceless…
Cholesterol
Dictatorship… Don’t you have enough this brainwash? You should… You must be frustrated to hear over and over what you should or what you shouldn’t eat, like you don’t know yet… But you do know very well, and if you still have problems with high Cholesterol… you are not alone.
You are bombard with the advice on nutrition, but one thing is left out which makes that advice obsolete…
Food is not the answer for most people!
Food is either: synthetic or over processed, over pesticides and over radiated - in short - building materials are missing… ‘’Gone with the wind'’…
The Secret is out…
Our population is hunted by high Cholesterol including small children thanks to the same foods, which are so glorified. “Give me a break!”
How anyone can consider food as reliable nutrition source, where the meat and the poultry are treated with hormones?
I found it almost ironic that so many experts keep sending message that you can keep Cholesterol low just on nearly empty diet. Please… don’t consider isolated synthetic Vitamins and Minerals a healthy solution. It is not, and never will be.
In reality, not many people can afford to shop in the Health Food Stores, so they are relaying on the food chain industry.
The trust is wrongly placed…
Over processed food is difficult to digest, and as the result fat is more difficult to utilized and the consequences are devastating: Heart Disease, High Cholesterol, Diabetics and Strokes are just the results what food can do…
So… what is the solution? I like to tell you about wonderful solution to this problem later but first, regardless how high or how low is your Cholesterol level one thing is certain… Prevention is the key…
Yes, yes there are zillions of products on the market and so what? You are still hoping for something better and you should…
Fat paranoia… again and again you are told to avoid fats just to keep Cholesterol normal but it is not the fat it is your liver that should be processing fats and if your liver is congested, it won’t happen. And don’t forget about the sugar… You don’t want to miss this info…
Avoiding bad fats it is always a good choice but sometimes it is difficult, so what you can do? You need nutrients to utilize those good fats and bad fats even when you sleep.
And the best part is that you don’t need 100 different supplements to get better, you need only one and the guessing is not involved.
Low LDL (bad Cholesterol) it is not enough to keep you away from Heart Disease. Know your Risk Factor first, and discover breakthrough details on Self-Healing and how to wakeup the Doctor within you - it is all here:

The prevalence of diabetes
has been steadily increasing world over. Diabetes is a disease in which blood glucose levels are above normal.
It is estimated that more than 2000 new cases of diabetes are diagnosed everyday in the United States alone. While symptoms of Type 1 diabetes are usually obvious, Type 2 often shows few or no symptoms.
After a meal, food is broken down into a sugar called glucose, which is carried by the blood to cells through out the body. Cells use the hormone insulin, made in the pancreas, to process blood glucose into energy. Diabetics have problems converting food to energy.
